Workshops are for people that are interested in developing understanding and direct experience of yoga practice by exploring specific themes and principles in depth ...
- There is more involvement from the students than a traditional class, as there is more time for exploration, questions and response... this often moves the workshop into new territory and an opportunity to zero in on specifics.. Marc's teaching is appropriate for anyone interested in the body/mind relationship, and improving the the relationships that are unveiled. The workshops are informal but informative, and you will have the time to develop your own awareness and experiential understanding of the work.
- General workshops offer an overview of the principles in practice, and training workshops centre on specific principles of movement and support that can be applied to any form of body work. If you attend a workshop you will walk away with tools that can be applied to your life on and off the mat.
"I believe the practice of Yoga is mostly about developing awareness of what is going on right this moment rather than learning fixed responses that may not serve our current needs. When we become truly present, in that moment we become capable of simply stepping out of our physical and emotional restrictions, into a new reality innocent of old injuries."
